Jobs canada - Canada Adds 61,600 December Jobs, More Than Expected (Update4)

Jan. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Canadian employers added 61,600 jobs in December, more than four times what economists expected and the fourth-straight gain, reducing speculation that the central bank will lower interest rates to stimulate demand.

Mayor Sees Silicon Valley (Jobs canada) Regaining Jobs, Edge

Silicon Valley is on track to regain the 200,000 jobs lost in the Internet bust of the early 2000s but will likely see fields other than the Internet lead the way, the new mayor of the region's biggest city says.
