Twenty Jobs to Go at Scots Radio Stations (Jobs canada)

By Shan Ross SOME 20 jobs are being axed at radio stations in Scotland as part of a cost-cutting strategy by the media group Emap. Radio Forth in Edinburgh is to lose up to ten jobs, a number of them in the newsroom and the engineering and marketing departments.
DAVOS, Switzerland (AFX) - Italy's economy minister Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa said yesterday's package of liberalisation measures aims to bring significant gains in the Italian economy and the creation of jobs.
Freightliner has confirmed it's eliminating nearly 1,200 jobs at its truck assembly plant in the Rowan County town of Cleveland.

Jobs canada - Tribes in Texas, elsewhere, oppose bid to change gaming

ATMORE, Ala. Changes proposed by the National Indian Gaming Commission has some tribal leaders fearing they could lead to lost jobs and cost hundreds of millions of dollars in casino revenue.
